So after all my kvetching and whining, after all my complaining and moaning.. how was it, you ask? How was the wedding?

It was simply quite lovely. Really.

We spent the whole day mainly, yes, sitting around until Brooke arrived. The 3 bridesmaids Brooke knew from college sucked. They were boring and didn't socialise. We whipped their asses in Feudal Wars (aka Asshole, but unfortunately we didn't have any alcohol). Then when Brooke got there - oh my God! She really was getting married! It had seemed like such a long time coming, that when the day actually arrived none of us could really believe it. (You can see the bridesmaid dress in the background, behind the photographer. Without the shoes of death.)

When she put her dress on, all of us teared up (and I am not a crier). It was too much. It was really happening.

It all went by so quickly. The ceremony was over in the blink of an eye. Pictures were taken at lightning speed. Before you knew it, we were toasting and chatting and dancing (except for the boring bridesmaids who seriously sat in the corner the entire evening) and then it was all over!

The most touching part of the entire event had to be when Mark saw Brooke for the first time in her wedding dress. He teared up. I nearly started bawling. And even though they are as boring as white bread (this has been confirmed also by the some of the groomsmen), they are so happy together. So blissfully happy, that the past sixteen months of daily wedding torture were (almost) worth it.

THE END.
